“We will forever be honored to have been the first couple that Miriam married. For us it was an obvious choice--we had both been friends with Miriam since before we met each other, we knew that officiating weddings was a dream of hers, and we knew she'd bring a remarkable amount of care, warmth, and joy to the process of creating our ceremony with us. If you're on this website and haven't met Miriam yet, just talk to her--it's impossible not to sense what a special person she is and the dedication and joy she brings to her vocation. It's impossible to overstate how specifically and joyfully Miriam tailors the ceremonies she creates to who you and your partner(s) are and how you wish to celebrate that love.”

“When planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to incorporate Jewish traditions into the ceremony while creating an inclusive and welcoming celebration we could share with all our family and friends. But we didn’t know how or even where to begin. Neither of us is religious, and we’re an interfaith couple with non-practicing parents. However, we believed in the significance of the traditions and wanted to make them more personal. That’s when Allison asked, “What about Miriam?” That question was the seed that grew into the perfect wedding for us. Miriam worked with us individually, as a couple, and with our families to adapt and modernize rituals that had meaning to us to create a sacred moment where we could dedicate ourselves to one another as equals made stronger by each other’s love. She brought so much love and joy to the process, officiating our ceremony with a caring, radiant energy that really set the mood for the whole wedding. Miriam helped us craft the perfect day to commemorate and celebrate our love, and we can’t imagine our day without her.”

“Miriam was an absolute delight to work with! She did an amazing job walking us through the process step by step and helping us build a very personalized ceremony that struck the right balance of being sentimental and sweet without being overly stuffy and outdated. We had a BEAUTIFUL loving and meaningful ceremony and it's in large part thanks to Miriam’s help and all the work she put into helping us build the prefect ceremony for us. We wouldn't go back and change a thing; it was everything we wanted for our wedding ceremony and more. Miriam also did an amazing job corralling our families during the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. Miriam, you did a wonderful job officiating and even knowing when to adjust positioning/staging, honestly, everything was perfect!”

“We truly feel so lucky to have had Miriam officiate our elopement! My husband and I attended a friend's wedding last year, officiated by Miriam, and we both individually decided we just had to ask her to officiate our wedding. Much like that friend's wedding, our wedding could not have turned out any better. Miriam worked with us to write a ceremony that was perfectly tailored to the two of us, and for the people attending our wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony unique to us and to our relationship; we felt very heard and loved throughout the whole process! Working with her was low-stress, and she was incredibly patient with us. Planning a wedding can be so stressful and overwhelming, but Miriam made things so much easier. We are forever grateful for her, and would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding officiant!”

“Miriam’s calming presence, beautiful energy, and love of love made for the perfect combination on our wedding day. In the planning process not only did she come prepared with questionnaires to help us get started and look back on our journey, but she has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wedding traditions from various cultures/religions and she had great recommendations on things that might be a good fit when we were feeling stuck or unsure. We also loved the fact that we felt supported by Miriam to do what WE wanted our ceremony to be/look like and even up til the wedding day itself was flexible on any changes we wanted to add or omit. If you and your betrothed are looking to work with someone who is knowledgeable, efficient, affordable, and truly dedicated to your special day, Miriam is a FANTASTIC choice!”

Miriam is my (Sophie's) life-long best friend, and so it was a bit of a no-brainer for us to ask Miriam to officiate. We not only trusted her deeply because of her experience officiating, but we knew she'd bring her thoughtful, creative self to the process and that she'd craft a ceremony that felt personal and met our wants and needs. We were confident that, with Miriam's understanding of Jewish weddings paired with her sensitivity to and empathy with interfaith couples, she would help us strike the right balance of tradition and uniqueness. Miriam's knowledge, care, professionalism, and all-around delightfulness made this a very easy choice for us! And working with Miriam was a fantastic experience. We felt that our voices and ideas were valued and centered throughout the whole process. Miriam offered lovely suggestions, but let us take the lead on the decisions. We relied on her depth of experience and understanding to help shape the day, and found many touches throughout that made the ceremony special and unique to us. At the zoom meeting where we first read through the ceremony together, Sheranda got teary after Miriam's opening words! This was when I knew that the ceremony would be extra special. Also pro tip -- if Miriam offers to sing or chant during your ceremony, say yes!
